It might be that the delicate flower has the ability to destroy/consume/get rid of the void. This would fit in with the white ladys dialouge as the knight (a creature formed mainly of void) should not hold a void consuming flower so close to itself, as for why the flower didnt consume the knight maybe a certain event has to occur to trigger it otherwise i have no clue as to why it hasnt
